On Friday, September 10th the St. Joseph School community will say goodbye to a wonderful teacher and friend. Mrs. Skrocki provided reading support to St. Joseph School students through the Title I Program for many years. She was also the Chairperson of the St. Joseph School Consultative Education Board and a committed volunteer at Friday night bingo events and many Polish Festivals. She and her husband Richard, our former Dean of Students and science teacher, dedicated countless hours to the students of St. Joseph School.
In addition to supporting the school, Mrs. Skrocki was a parishioner at St. Joseph Basilica and a woman of great faith. As the St. Joseph First Communion Class co-instructor, she guided many children as they prepared to receive the Sacrament of the Eucharist. In addition, she served others as an officer of the St. Joseph Women’s Club and a member of the Holy Rosary and Sacred Heart Sodalities.
Mrs. Skrocki was a kind, loving, and patient individual who touched the lives of many. Unfortunately, her death leaves a void that we cannot fill.
Join us in extending our heartfelt sympathy to the Skrocki Family. Please keep them in your prayers. Thanks you.
