On Sunday, October 23rd, the Saint Joseph School community gathered for one of their favorite events: Trunk or Treat! The SJS Home and School Association (H.S.A.) organized the event. The group aims to direct and coordinate parental support for St. Joseph School through educational activities and religious and social functions. Although the day was overcast, with sprinkles of rain throughout the afternoon, the weather did not dampen the excitement. Teachers, students, and parents gathered for laughter, fellowship, and fun in the schoolyard.
Students in Grades Pre-K – Grade 8 who attended were not disappointed when they arrived. The schoolyard was filled with over thirty skillfully decorated vehicles, creating a festive and spooky atmosphere. In addition, the drivers of those vehicles distributed lots of candy and treats to the “Trunk or Treaters.” The school community is very thankful for Chairpersons Jennifer Barbosa, Megan Belanger, and Kristen Krajcik, who organized the event.
