The St. Joseph School Eagles Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society conducted a Christmas Stocking Raffle as its 2019 Fall community service project. The goal of their project was to assist current or prospective students who need financial support to attend St. Joseph School. The NJHS members feel strongly about the academic and spiritual foundation they receive while attending St. Joseph School and wanted to help make this experience available to others. Stocking themes and raffle winners were: I Love Animals – Gabriel Rudnicki, Movie Night – Lucas Barbosa, New England Patriots – Ruth Pakaluk, Crafts & Candy – Andrew Hachigian, Christmas Treats – Elixander Salome-Negron, Reindeer Rock – Michael Berthiuame, and O Christmas Tree – Charlotte Dollar.
The National Junior Honor Society is excited to announce that on Friday, December 20th, Wiktoria Potem, Secretary/Treasurer of the Eagles Chapter of NJHS, presented the proceeds from the service project, a $250 donation to the St. Joseph School Scholarship Fund, to Principal Michael Hackenson. Also pictured are NJHS members Jacob Sirard, Katrina Piekielniak, Dale Boudreau, Adrian Sobczak, Tessa McCabe and Maya Podskarbi. Thank you for your support and congratulations to the winners!
