The St. Joseph School National Junior Honor Society recently presented Dave Obuchowski, Volunteer Coordinator at the Community Cat Connection with cat litter, dry and wet cat food, treats, laundry detergent, and paper towels, as well as a check for $125. After presenting their donations, the students toured the facility and learned about the mission of the Community Cat Connection and volunteer opportunities at the facility. They also had a great time playing with some of the many kittens that are up for adoption.
The SJS Honor Society Students raised the money during their Lenten service project. Each member created a fun Easter basket that they raffled-off to fellow students. They raised $300. National Junior Honor Society members include Benjamin Duval, Emilia Pianka, Szymon Mamro, Remonda Mankarios, and Kaileigh Strong. Their advisor is Mrs. Karen Lefebvre.
