St. Joseph School Alumnus, Alexandra Sobczak, Class of 2015, spent her April vacation in Haiti.  She attends Holy Name Junior Senior High School and is part of Holy Name’s Britsionary team.  Alexandra spent the week working at a Be Like Brit orphanage and building a new home for a family in need.  She and other Holy Name students culminated the week by presenting the keys to the new owners.  When asked about her experience, Alexandra replied, “Spending a week down in Brit’s Home in Haiti has been one indescribable experience that I will always hold close to my heart. Building a home for a family of 13, spending time with the 66 beautiful children in the orphanage and getting involved in the community and culture of Haiti has made this experience one I’ll never forget!”  We are very proud of Alexandra’s hard work and dedication to helping people.   Great job, Alexandra!
