On Saturday, March 8, the Saint Joseph School Varsity Cheer Team competed in the Route 395 Cheer Tournament at All Saints Academy, performing in front of a packed crowd. Their high-energy routine, featuring stunts, tumbling, cheers, and dynamic dance moves, earned them an impressive third-place finish.
Adding to their success, Evelyn Macko and Sophia Surowaniec were named team MVPs for their outstanding performances.
The highlight of the morning came when the Saint Joseph School Cheer Team was honored with the Mary Paul School Spirit Award. This prestigious award, determined by votes from the athletic directors of the Route 395 League, is presented to the squad that best exemplifies enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and school spirit—an incredible testament to the team’s dedication and camaraderie.
The team is proudly coached by Jessica Ryan and Nicole Tetreault, whose leadership and guidance have been instrumental in the squad’s success.
Congratulations, SJS Eagles Cheer Team!
