The Officer Phil Program recently visited with our First through Fourth Grade Classes to teach them about stranger danger, the negative effects of bullying, fire safety, internet safety and respect for authority figures. They also discussed positive behaviors such as honesty, friendship, being a buddy not a bully, civic responsibility and knowing what to do in an emergency.
During the presentation, there was magic, games, and ventriloquism to engage the students and keep their attention while they learned valuable lessons. Some students even participated in the show! It was obvious by watching their faces and hearing the laughter that they had a great time. Thank you, Officer Phil!
