On May 9, 2018 Grade 7 and 8 students competed in the annual Spelling Bee sponsored by the St. Joseph Women’s Club. Although the winning word was “disastrous,” the competition was nothing of the sort! It was exciting for all who attended and participated. The top three finishers were: First Place – Emilia Pianka, Second Place – Szymon Mamro, and Third Place – Sebastian Podgorny. Women’s Club Financial Secretary, Sheri Bergeron presented gift certificates to the winners.
