On August 30th, Saint Joseph School students in Grades 1-8 returned to their classrooms to begin the 2022-2023 school year. The school administration, teachers, AAA Safety Patrol, and Fr. Tony welcomed students as they exited their vehicles during morning drop-off. It was a time for greetings and hugs! Students and parents also posed for back-to-school photos in front of the school entrance, decorated with balloons and streamers. During the back-to-school assembly later that morning, students were welcomed back for the 2022-2023 school year, and the 8th Grade students were recognized as they embarked on their final year at SJS. Each 8th Grade student received red beads from their homeroom teacher, Mrs. Weaver, and a massive round of applause from their peers. As the week continued, Kindergarten and PreK students also arrived for their first school days. It was an exciting week!
We are thrilled to see so many familiar faces and new members of our school family. This year, we have 59 new students at St. Joseph School. In addition, we have increased enrollment from 179 in 2021-2022 to 198 for the 2022-2023 school year. Although several classes are closed, we will still accept registrations for Grades 1-5 and 7-8. However, spaces are limited. Don’t hesitate to contact the school at 508-943-0378 or email info@sjs-webster.com for information. There is still time to be part of this incredible school community!
