Student Ambassadors are a small group of students dedicated to the positive promotion of St. Joseph School. All members of the Eagles Chapter of the Junior National Honor Society and 7th & 8th Grade Student Council members have the privilege of being Student Ambassadors. Student Ambassadors work on a volunteer basis to serve as liaisons between the current St. Joseph School community and prospective students. The Student Ambassador’s main job is to be a helpful, friendly face for prospective students and their families when they first visit the school as well as help new students on their first day of school and throughout the year.
Rev. Grzegorz Chodkowski, Headmaster of St. Joseph School, as well as its Student Ambassadors invite you to visit them as they kick-off Catholic Schools Week 2020. Fr. Chodkowski, also known as Fr. Gregory to his American friends, was appointed parish administrator of St. Joseph Basilica in April 2019 and named pastor in July of 2019. In addition, he assumed the role of headmaster of the school. One of several new programs implemented since that time has been the Student Ambassador Program.
The upcoming week will be a busy time for the Student Ambassadors, since St. Joseph School will be participating in Catholic Schools Week (CSW). The purpose of CSW is to celebrate the school’s students, faculty and staff. It’s also a time to invite parishioners and the local community to visit St. Joseph School and learn more about its mission and the academic & spiritual foundation it provides its students.
The public is invited to many events that will take place at St. Joseph School throughout the week:
Friday, January 24, 2020, the school will celebrate the 2018-2019 Route 395 League Regular Season and Tournament Championship of their Varsity Boys Basketball team.
