Congratulations to Class of 2015 Alumnus, Bartosz Mamro, who was one of nine students inducted into the National Chinese Honor Society at Marianapolis Preparatory School. To gain membership into the honor society, a student must take Chinese for four semesters with an average grade of B+ or higher and no grade lower than a B-. Bartosz never scored lower than an A. The honor society promotes and recognizes students with good citizenship, leadership, and deeds of community service. In addition, Bartosz was inducted into the National Honor Society as well as awarded a Rensselaer Medal. The Rensselaer Medal is one of Marianapolis’ premier merit scholarship opportunities worth $100,000 for outstanding math and science students. For more than 100 years, Rensselaer, in conjunction with high schools around the world, has awarded the Rensselaer Medal to promising secondary school students who have distinguished themselves in mathematics and science.
